Traveler's World RV Park 2617 Roosevelt Avenue San Antonio, TX 78214 RVer Reviews Friday, May 31, 2002 8:30 AM We recently visited this park because of the convenience to downtown San Antonio and after reading your review was apprehensive about going there. Well, I was very much surprised and pleased we chose this park even with your sad review. New owners have taken over this park and improvements are being made. Most sites have wonderful shade trees that have been trimmed to accomodate our large rig. The restrooms and laundry were extremely clean. I agree it is an older park and the neighborhood is in a poor section of the city, but by no means did I feel afraid after dark. There is a authentic Mexican restaurant right across the street with great food, and nice family atomosphere. The new owners are very friendly and have lots of plans for improvement, cabins, exercise room, game room, just to name a few. I will definitely go back. They even mentioned a future water spray park. My kids can't wait for that. I think you should review this park again in the near future. |
